Basically, no one showed up on the postponement date of August 11 for various reasons.  Flying wasn’t any good anyway. My wife, son, and myself showed up at 9 am and stayed until 10:30 with no one showing up at that time we left. This contest had been rescheduled from Saturday to Sunday due to high winds, but to no avail since winds were still high. Found out later that Jack Tisinai had just missed us when we left. Wind was 10 mph plus out of the west and another strip of beans was planted along the eastern canal making the field in that direction even shorter. Asst. Contest Director: Jeff Annis
