2026 EAA Winter Flight Fest – Contest Results

Indoor Free Flight Contest at the EAA Winter Flight Fest held in the Museum Hangar in Oshkosh WI was a success. Ther were 18 Entrants from a wide geographical area. The Group picture is on the Home page. Most importantly, the flyers gave demonstrations for EAA Museum visitors on Saturday. Here, Jocelyn Buxton shows a youngster how to launch a P-18 plane

Dave Lindley, of the National Free Flight Society, posted YouTube videos of 2 Contests and a Mass launch of a wide variety of planes, including an ornithopter in the shape of a bird.

On Sheet 2, The One Design Bostonian Contest for BeanCraft Bananas was won by Jim Buxton. H. G. Frautschy won the Bostonian Mass Launch. Jim Buxton won the timed event for the One Design Mish Mash pusher planes as well as the Mish Mash Mass Launch.
